Latest Currency Updates: - India rupee traded lower by 12 paise at 68.91 per dollar on fresh demand for American currency. Yesterday rupee closed near five-year low at 68.80 per dollar. It ended lower by 33 paise against Friday's close 68.47.

Opening Bell: - Share market open with a flat note weakness in Asian market. BSE Sensex fell 33.24 points to 35,231.17 and NSE Nifty slipped 11.40 points to 10,645.90. Nifty Midcap index fell 54 points. TCS, Dr. Reddy’s Labs, coal India are gain. ICICI bank, HDFC, Cipla, Yes Bank, PNB and BOB are in pressure.

Closing Bell: - BSE Sensex fell 159.07 points to 35,264.41 and NSE Nifty shed 57 points to 10,657.30. About 1,643 shares declined against 966 advancing shares on BSE. Nifty Midcap index fell 117 points.
